Went for a first hand looksee at this jewel of a '44 SC today. I have reason to believe it is well worth the money I will be paying for it.
(Pay no attention to that duck! He's not part of the deal.)

Congrats, Les! If you need some parts, let us know, we've got a '43 SC parts tractor & might be able to help. The engine has been transplanted into one w/busted block, so we have very few engine parts that are any good, but there is some other stuff. (We've got an extra set of wheel weights-they will be priced right, but shipping might be costly.)
Man, that east coast weather looks like its rough on sheet metal. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Do you still have the front hubs on your parts SC. I seem to have two different hubs for mine and would like to have a matched pair. The shaft on the lower spindle is 1-1/2. I heard they made two different sizes. Only difference I'm aware of is the back bearing is different. If your interested in parting with yours email me.
Thanks

Thanks, jal. The guy I'm buying it from has a couple of parts sources right here in NH. One of them is a fellow I know. He's partsing out an SC. I bought a grader blade from him a couple years ago.

Congrats, Les. Get her inside Ralph's shed before the snow flies again.

Well like I always say: If it looks like a duck,if it quacks like a duck... then it must be a Case SC! (grin)

Seriously- why did somebody photoshop a picture of a duck in there with your tractor??

If you hung around the Tractor Tales board, you'd know all about that duck. His name is Bob and he owns the web(!) site that I posted that picture from.
That beauty will be going to my young friend's home in Lincoln which is about 10 miles north of me. I'm supplying the tractor and the parts, he's supplying the meckanickin.

After seeing that block of wood holding up the front end, there's only one thing to say...DUCK!
