I was looking at Case Tractors on the net and saw there was an 831 Case. I did not know one existed. What is the difference between the Case 830 and 831?

Thanks

830 was early model with big fenders like the western style 1030 831 was a general purpose with different style of fenders it also sat higher off the ground.

The 3 means it's a diesel, the 1 means it's a "row crop" or general purpose version & it could have a wide or narrow front end. I 've got 3 930's here, all 3 different fuels, a 940, a 941, & a 932....Roger

The last two digits in the number told what style of 830 it was. Narrow or wide front, gas, diesel or propane fueled. I don't have the chart anymore that tells me what it is, but I think I remember the 831 as the wide front.
