My Delco Remy distributor (model 1111411) has a chewed up drive gear. What's the chances of finding a replacement gear, or even a whole distributor if needs be. I live in Ontario.

Thanks in advance.

Put a mag on it. No more problems.

I'd check w/local C-IH dealer. Don't know the number, but the right-angled Delco was also used on Farmall letter series tractors, after market, but sold by IH. I've got a right-angled Delco on my '44 SC that I got at a salvage yard-it came off of an Allis, but its the same as the ones used on IH. I got parts for mine @ my local C-IH dealer last fall. They have been in business for 75 years, so they have lots of old parts books. They had to look there, not in the computer. NAPA also probably has the parts as well. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Thanks for your response. If I can find a gear, how do I get the old gear off. I see where there's what looks like a pin through the top of the gear, do you drive this out? Is it a special pin, or will anything work. Thanks again.
