Just a few miles West & South of you @ the Corn Palace City-Mitchell. Went to College in Madison & used to teach @ Lincoln. Worked for GF & P @ Lake Herman for a couple of summers.

What ya got for tractors? My Brother-in-Law & I have a few. For Cases, we have a '56 600 (the big one), 7 SC's, (5 running, 1-parts & a '41 smooth block that is complete, but needs to be restored), 5 DC's (3 running, 2 parts) 2 VC's (1 running & a parts), 2 CC's (1 running & a parts), a 930 that works for a living in BIL's farming operation, along with some Farmalls- 4 H's, (2 running, 1 parts & one that will run some day), a stage 1 Super M, a '53 Super C & a 1600 Ollie (all working for a living). BIL also has a big FWA Allis (don't know the #) that he farms with. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Thanks for responding - I sold all my stuff a couple years ago and have been kicking myself lately for having done so - Had a cherry 800 diesel, a VAC-13 wide front and an ihc cub - now looking for some - but live in town with no storage located yet. You must know Delmer Dooley up at Ramona - he has a very nice collection of many different brands - I'm interested in aquiring a 51 dc with eh/wf and a 53 sc with eh as well as a 300 or 350 - That 600 you have sure would be nice. I also would like to have a 61 830.

Haven't met Delmer, but want to look him up some time when I'm up that way. For those of us who live in town, storage is a problem, especially if you live on a 50' wide lot. (Ya need to have a relative/good friend that farms & collects too.) Only thing I have in town is my '44 H. Use it to move snow for all the neighbors, so they don't complain that it sets in the back yard. Wish we had sheds for everything-almost all of 'em have to set outside. (Another $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
