What is draft-o-matic? My Case 730 comfort king says draft-o-matic on the side.

I have also seen case-o-matic. What is that?

Thanks for the help.

The first three point hitch case made was the eagle hitch. Draft arms were rigid and depth control was adjusted on the implements. Then came the draft-o-matic. The depth was set with the control lever and the control valve kept that depth under various load conditions.

Right you are Jim. Advertising back at that time said the Draft o Matic actually sensed the load at 600 times per minute. On a hard pull it would raise the iomplement somewhat and there was a control to shut the sensing off or make it more sensitive. John

John, could you explain the setting of the draft control? Which position does what?
