Hey CASEPOWER-

I was off noodling around with my photo galleries and just got back and saw your post.

How do I help you with this one? As you know- the steel wheels are made up of lots and lots of parts... all with different individual part numbers.

I don't think the numbers for the "rear wheel, complete" would do you any good. Do you want numbers from the center hubs?

My Parts Catalog #522 shows three different rear steel wheels for the SC.

The first one is what I would call a "skeleton" steel wheel with a thin outer band.

The second one is called a "6X48 Rear Wheel"

The third one is not labeled, but it has an even wider steel tire and offset spokes.

Let me know it Terry's answered your question- or tell me exactly what to look for in the parts book, and I'll be happy to help.

I was going by the center hubs because when you have to identify them that is usually the only # left. I had thought they were SC wheels but the casting # on the center hub is #5835A. It's possible that they are for a RC. They are not the old red from the grey era. They are Flambeau red. Any ideas??

CASEPOWER-

SC skeleton hub: #B1578AA (which I *think* is made up of hub #A5880A and cap #A5881A)

SC 6X48 steel hub: #B1578AA (Uses the same A5880A and A5881A parts)

SC wide steel hub: #5345A

A-HA! That part number shows in my "D" Series Parts Catalog No. D221.

#5835A - Hub, rear wheel (use 3044AA)

This part number is listed under the assembly "SLIDING TYPE STEEL REAR WHEEL FOR "DC" TRACTOR NO. 4607033 AND AFTER"

Let me know if you need anything else. I'll be away from the 'puter for the rest of the day, today.

Regards, -Schotte

I had better go do some measureing then and quit eye balling stuff. They looked to small for DC, but way back one time long ago I was wrong. Been wrong about everything every since also..

Thanks Terry, It now proves that I don't know what I have. The axle size is SC or RC. The axle size is to small for D series and too big for V or VA series. Thanks for your help.
