So is Flambeau red and Case orange the same color? I have seen some Cases that almost look Persian orange. Never did get that straight. And some repainted Cases more red at the shows.

Dan. your case flambau red was on all post WW2 case tractors, D, SC, VAC, 400,700,800,and all 30 series, from 400 through1030 series had Desert Sunset hood and fenders, 70 series were power red which is close but not the same. Have both! Dale in TX.

Flambeau Red is the official name for "Case orange" Later tractors used what was known as Power Red, which is darker than Flambeau Red, and is used with the Desert Sand

Power Red goes with Power White and Power Yellow NOT Desert Sunset and I don't have a clue what desert sand is

I ordered flambeau red from my local Case dealer and what I got looks more orange than red--which I think is correct. I know some guys substitute power red which is more red; It looks neat, but it's not accurate when flambeau is called for.
