Hello I am looking at a Case automatic reset plow (6 16s) with the nitrogin accumulater. What do you think of these plows, who made them (I was told they didn't make their own plows ) Thank you Bryan

the guy from Indiana is correct on the plow info, but to answer your question they are good plows with marginal corn stock clearance and like the other gentleman said make sure you check the nitrogen pressure

Never had any problems with stalks with my 8300,but it was 18's not 16's.Plowed standing stalks(not chopped or disced)can't ever remember plugging it.

Bryan; The last series of CASE plows, the 8300 series were built by White. However you could get White or the CASE EX bottoms on them. The White frame was taller and heavier than the older CASE frame. Previous to the White built frames in the 70's, CASE built their own plows. The EX bottoms are a light draft bottom that do a nice job. The problem with the older plows is that they don't have the trash clearance of today's plows. Hope this helps, John

the last plows from case (white) were the 308, 400, 500, 700 series plows. the 7000, 8300, plows were still made by Case.
