We are getting ready to put new rear tires on our 430,for many years we just put on whatever size used tire that was around ,now nobody can remember what it is supposed to have. If anyone knows I would like to know. It currently has one 13.6/28 and one 11.2/28 kind of funny looking.
thanks .

Hey Captain; According to thr parts book, several different sizes were used, even 24". For the 28": 12.4, 13.6 & 14.9. I suggest you measure the rim size. Hope this helps, John

The tractor is 250 miles away.As I can recall the 12.4 tire fills the rim the best, the 13.6 's tread is wider than the rim. I can get two brand new American made 11.2/28 8 ply tires for $120 each. The front has 5.50/16 ,so the small rear tires wouldnt look funny. The old case hardly ever even gets used any more, maybe 10 hrs per year average. but when I drive 250 miles to brush hog I want the tires to be up when I get there. This summer I have to hog over 200 acres when I go there. Some vacation.

I have a 420 B and the manual for it calls for a 13-24, 6-ply tire. I don't know if this is any help but I hope it's a start in the right direction.
