My grandmother has 3 Case SC's at her house. One I regularly use to mow the field or do whatever I want and the other two aren't really doing anything at the moment. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the years of these tractors. The first one has serial number 5606016SC, the second is 5212095SC and the last is SC 8040748. I was also wondering what exactly the eagle hitch is, because I've heard about it but don't really know what it looks like. I'm sure it sounds really dumb considering I use the tractor but I don't know a whole lot about them. I know the tractors i listed first and third have hydraulic lifts for a three point hitch. Thank you for your help.

It is good to know that other people share the same views with me on Case tractors. I think that these are great tractors. The one I use regularly has gotten many people out of jams and moved plenty of stuff around here on the farm. I just can't wait to start work on them. I am also going to start work on a 1947 Minneapolis Moline RTI so I will always have something to do in the summer. Thank you for your help.

The first SC is a 1952, the second is 1948, the third is a very late model, 1953. I'll bet #3 has a foot clutch. The Eagle Hitch is Case's answer to the Ferguson three point hitch System. It has two arms that extend rearward from the Drawbar base. They should be 26 inches apart (category 1). The third point is an adjustable arm that extends from the top of the hydraulic housing (under the seat) or a bracket that is attached over the PTO shaft. More than likely this adjustable arm is missing. They almost always are left in the shed where the tractor was found, were thrown away, or were plowed under. Hope this helps you a little. Don

It helps alot, thank you. The third one does have a foot clutch while the other two have hand clutches. I'm hoping to work on the '53 in the near future so i have another tractor to use in case something happens to the one I am using now. Thank you agian for your help.
