Service Manual for 470?

I am trying to replace the differential seals in my dads old 470.
I ruined the first seal, I think I have the second seal in but the bearing plate wont go all the way in, it stopped about 3/16" from the housing.
I have tried to find a manual for this tractor with no luck. The closest thing I have came was at TCS but the manual I need Has been discountinued. The dealer that sold my dad the tractor don't have case any more, all the old manuals are gone.
The closest Case dealer is about two hours away and I doubt if they would still have any thing.
I would like to know what is holding the bearing plate. I don't know if maybe the shaft has moved in such a way that it is missaligned up in the differential.
I have also had a lot of trouble finding the seals for this thing, the left seal was a National # 480441, the right seal I couldn't identify. The parts store tells me that National # 450441 is what the are selling to fit this tractor and I have had a lot of trouble finding that.
If any one can help I would appreciate it. This job shouldn't be this hard.
