How much does a decent running SC bring? I have a VC and I would rather have an SC now. The VC is fine, but my grandpa loves SC's as his father bought one of those to be the first tractor on the farm. My grandpa has one with a post hole digger but I want to fix one up for show. Anyone intersted in VC's? -Brad

Brad; I like the VC's better than the VAC's. I have a V,VC VA,VAI and VAIW. Like the V series because there are very few at shows. See a lot of SC's and VAC's. I have a single front wheel SC that I bought for $255.00. Rough condition and stuck, about the value of the wheels and tires. Gene

Gene, I too like the V series more than VAC's (no offense to owners, the VC's are just more rare) Do you have any pictures of your tractors? I have alot of questions about mine and if I could call you or something along those lines I would appreciate it. Thanks,-Brad

P.S. where are you located? If you are close maybe you wouldn't care if I saw your Case's ?

Brad; Many different variables to consider in order to put a price on an "SC". I have a '53 "SC" with foot clutch, adj. wide front, completely restored with new tires all around that I wouldn't take $3500 for. A run of the mill "SC" at auction; $350 to $1500. A foot clutch would be worth more than a hand clutch. Eagle Hitch would add to the value as would the live PTO & hyd. Adjustable wide front would add value. Condition of tires and rims is a factor. If it has Eagle Hitch, is the top link assy. with it? Usually not. How about it fellows, how far off am I? Good luck, John
