Brian; Yes your "800" had the famed "clamshell" fenders; they had their problems; keep looking, you will eventually find some. Manual numbers; Parts: A630 Owners: 9-423 Service: 9-74321 Good Luck John.

john,
thanks for the info, which manual do you recommend? they seem a bit spendy, we just want to know how to operate it well and do some service if need be -what all does the owners manual cover?

Brian; The owners manual would tell you all about operating the tractor, controls ect. and minor service. My feeling about the service manual is that is an investment. If you do any of your own service work, it will pay for itself. At some point, CASE will no longer offer it, and if your luck is like mine, that's when you will need it the most. Hope this helps, John.

I would say that you are right on the money there. There will come a time (probably sooner rather than later) when the manuals will no longer be readily available. Even if you don't want to do major work on your tractor by yourself it will probably be difficult to find someone else that can do the work unless you provide them with a service manual.
