I have a 970 gas with the 377 gas and a 1370 with the 504 turbo. My 1370 has the series 30 seat but the shock is worn out. I have looked everywhere to get a replacement shock for it but I am hitting brick walls by all saying they are no longer available. I cannot be the only one with this seat in this country, can I? Any sources of where I can get a new shock for my seat??

Dave; Does your seat use the A60342 shock absorber? It mounts under the front and looks like an automotive shock absorber. John

John,

My series 30 seat still has the original shcok I believe. It is a A-43XXX I think. Any suggestions like NAPA opr other parts store. CAse has some shocks but no longer for this. They said to dump it. NO reason. Looks like new other than bad shock. I can fabricate for I have found one the is 2" longer. Since I am tall and do not need the travel, I may be OK. What does anyone think or what has anyone done to dolve this?
