What will I have to change to put a combine engine in a tractor? I found a good diesel combine engine but I need a shopping list for the swap.
thanks,Chris

Hi, I'd like updates on your engine swap. I think the factory used a 2" longer hood. The loader frame at the steering box casting? How did the factory offset the difference? Thanks, Dennis....

we put a combine 188 i think in a 430 and the gov. was diff. and we had to change it but i think that was it. its around 1-2 inches longer than the engine that came out of the 430. which i don't know what it was or what was in the 530s right off hand. other than that it was a direct bolt on.

I know it is longer I already made provisions for that, the governor is what had me concerned.
