I am going to the bone yard to find me an engine. What should I look for, what will fit in a 530ck backhoe besides the 159ci gas,I know the 188d will but what about the 430 engine 147ci will it fit and what power units and combines did they use that family of engine. This is going in a backhoe so power is not as inportant as in a tractor,as long as it will move and run a hydraulic pump it'll work. I have a good vac engine that looks similar but I believe that would be a little too weak. What do you case'ers think
What will fit?
I grew up on a case VAC and 430gas but drifted away but I'm coming back to my senses...
thanks,
