I think that may be a casting number but I'm not sure. I don't think they put serial numbers on the blocks.

Can you tell us how the tractor is configured? Tricycle front or wide? Adjustable tread width? U joint steering, or steering box at bottom of column? If you can post some details maybe someone can help you out.

Also, go to the tractor photos page, and type "Case VA" in the search bar and check out some pictures until you find one that looks close.

Good luck, Fireman

Non-adjustable width on rear rims
9.5 x 32 Rear Tires
Steering Box at bottom of column
Chicken-Roost Steering Arm
Overhead Valve Engine

If the tread is not adjustable it may be a VA or an industrial model, I'm not really sure. Mine is a tricycle front, adjustable rear VAC.

Hope you find something out. There are a few VA experts on here but some of them don't get much internet time. God luck, Fireman
