I need help identifying the Case I bought yesterday. It looks to be an SC based on the pictures I have seen on this site. It Has a hand clutch, 4 cyl. gas engine & 38" rear tires. The guy I bought it from thought it is a 1940 model but he was not sure. Can anyone tell me where to find the serial # at? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Gene,

I just sent you an e-mail with photos showing the two different serial number locations on the SC.

If you're still not sure that you have an SC- let me know- I'll send you a photo of the whole tractor!

Happy Tractoring, -Schotte

You have to give us a little more information for us to help you identify it & tell you where serial #'s might be located. (i.e.: what color is it-is it a hand or foot clutch-does it have a "chicken roost" steering arm, where are the brakes, etc.) Go to the Tractor Photos in the gallery @ left & see if you can find one that looks like yours. Then we can give you some more information. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

jal-SD. This tractor looks like a 1938 RC. It looks like Frazier Daileys of KY, in the tractor photos. The color is orange. The brakes are at your feet under the steering wheel. It has a hand clutch. And also a "chicken roost" steering arm.I hope that might help us out some.Thanks.
