Aaron,

Don't have a map in front of me so I will give you the coming shows for Kansas and Iowa. There was two shows already in Kansas the 1st and second in Kansas city and Chapman.

September 8 Maquoketa, Iowa and Juda, Kansas
September 14 and 15 Le Mars, Iowa
September 28 Effingham, Kansas
October 19 Oxford, Iowa
October 25-27 Wichita, Kansas

And of course November 1-3 National toy show in Dyersville, Iowa

Another one to contact is Julian Skretta Auctioneer who also deals in toys and his number is 563-422-3182. Again the all black demos were put out by Ertl in the 70's and I haven't seen the early version with the tan cab till Toy Farmer came out with one several years ago. Thats not saying they didn't but the folks I mentioned would know for sure.

Thanks

there is no such thing as a golden demonstrator case. golden demos were IH tractors. they were all called black knights. early version had dersert sunset cabs, later ones were all black.

Aaron, if you are buying the originals they can be spendy, anywhere's from 300 to 500 for the original Black Knight and Spirit. The Golden Demo was put out by the Toy Farmer as their yearly tractor, never seen an older model. What part of the country are you from? Not close to Dyersville, Iowa are you? Annual toy show comes up the first weekend in November. There are also toy shows around, best if you can deal in person.

Else try Grandpa's Toys at www.trvnet.net/~gpastoys or Steve Gifford at www.midiowa.com/sgfmtoys or email [email protected]

They may be able to give you a hand. I can also check to see if there are any toy shows in your area.

Thanks.
