Think a VAC is worth $500? Its all complete and original except for the rear wheels. The centers were cut out and 24 inch road grader wheels put on.
The tin is excellent. The tires may hold air but thats about all. Owner said it ran when he quit using it several years ago, but it has not been started it since then.

Has it been setting outdoors? If it has, my biggest concern would be as to whether or not it has gotten water into the cylinders. I don't know where you live, but the cylinders could have frozen and busted internally. Is there still antifreeze in the radiator? Is there antifreeze in the bottom of the oil pan? If there is antifreeze where it is supposed to be, then it's worth $500.

Well does the engine turn over, most of them did when they were parked. I would check to see if the engine still turns over and find out why it was parked. I have been told several times by people that the engine turns over and when I asked them to go check to see if it still turns over most of the time they come back and say no, but it sure did when they parked it 10 years ago. Double check to see if the engine turns over.
