Last weekend dad gave me Uncle Otto's DC case. It's a 51 model and has been on dads farm since Otto died in 1964. I hated that tractor with every inch of my body,so I made a point of beating the daylites out of it every time I drove it, [still going] mostly because I wanted to drive the new 3020 and the 4020. Well I decided to make a puller out of it, payback time so to speek. I was finally going to kill that dammed tractor, [victory at last] But, I did a few jobs around my farm with it, and then the sentimentallity caught up to me, so now I'm in the proccess of restoring it. [Obvious brain damage caused by staring at that orange paint] My question is where can I find bushings for the wide front. Thanks, You orange freeks.....Just kidding, that Chicken roost on wheels can take a beating, and you pumpkinites are all right!!! Thanks again, Big Larz....P.S. sorry uncle Otto!

Big Larz-

Welcome to the fold. I hope you enjoy and appreciate your restored tractor for years to come. If you still decide you hate it after the rebuild, I'm sure that any of us here on the board would be happy to take it off your hands for free. (grin)

Barring that option- I have two other suggestions... Stick the next generation version of yourself in the seat and let 'em have fun, or start raising chickens!

Happy Tractoring, -Schotte

It's kind of hard to pi$$ off a Case tractor owner. We're all secure in the knowlage that the tractors we use are the best ever built. Whenever someone else goes to bragging about their color of tractor we just smile and nod our heads, then go back to what we were doing, because we know something he doesn't. Case tractors are the best.
