We have an old Case front end loader (industrial - 4WD) with a 377 gas in it. We have been told that both a 377 and a 401 diesel can be used instead. Is that accurate and if so, where do I find one?

Thanks, MG

Thanks for the replies. Can any of you tell me when they quit building those engines and whether there are any sources for them other than blind luck?

When Case made those engines for the 930 tractors or other applications, the 377 is gasoline or LP gas and the 401 is diesel, there was no 377 diesel. I have 3 930's, one of each fuel.

Didn't the original 500 have a 377 diesel?
