Guys, I hate to see good stuff at the crusher. I salvaged a case 4 cyl mag and I am looking to Id it and find it a good home. Its a fairly big thing and it has the big bird on the top of the housing. I can send a photo if any one has intrest or can help. Thanks a bunch. Bob Blase

If it has four mount holes on the bottom, it is referred to as base mount and would be a 4-CMA.

If it has a flange with two holes, it could be two or three different models. I don't have my books here, but one difference in the flange mounts is if it has a bakelite cap (where the eagle is) or just aluminum housing.

Most of the Case magnetos that turn up are from tractors, but they were also used on airplanes. The plane magnetos have a different drive usually and probably some other differences. I am not familiar with them.

I would probably be interested in it. Please email me about condition and price. Thanks
