Roger, I am the guy with the 430 Case, with the leaky 3-point piston, about 3 pages back on this forum. you seemed pretty posistive that the seal rings on my hydralic piston in my three point are bad. Before I drive the 160 miles round trip for the parts. I want to pick your brain one more time. Ok here goes I have an Case 22 loader on the tractor, In the book it says to raise the loader about 4ft. off the ground. WITH the engine off, I checked the hydralic oil (plug on left side of engine with little dipstick attached) Hydralic oil level seemed low so I added oil probably 2 gal. or better level in torque tube doesn't go up but the fluid level in the transmission goes up. (with out engine running) With no hydralic fluid flowing I don't see how the 3pt piston being bad? But the 3pt hitch will bleed off after a while with the plow on probably some seal leakage? Sorry about the long post. & I really appreciated your help Thanks Dave F.
