Jal, I noticed the thread down below about you having a bunch of SC's in your area. Where abouts in SD are you from? I'm in SE Wy and they're scarce as he11 here. I might be interested if you've got a decent one hanging around looking for a good home and a warm place to sleep. Gimme a holler if you get a minute...

Jal, I was raised up in Sundance just across the state line from Spearfish. Went to college in Rapid City, and used to go to Mitchell to see the Corn Palace and had track meets there in High School. Always liked our neighbors to the east a whole lot better than the ones I got to the south now. E-mail me if you get a chance and maybe we can hook up sometime. I'd like to get an SC next (or at least sometime), maybe we can see what transpires...

Yep, I was a Miner! One He11uva good school there. But in my case I think they just used me to bring the GPA down to tolerable levels. I thought I was really sharp until I met some people over there who REALLY had the gray matter. We used to play Hill City in H.S. football and basketball. Getting ready to go back up to the Hills and chase turkeys with my 11 year old next week.

Boy yeah, keep an eye peeled for an SC if you could! About the only thing we have a real abundance of around here are ignorant polititians and antelope. If you need an extra of one of them gimme a call. I'll even pay shipping!!!

If you get S of Hill City, stop @ Harney Lounge, (its about 2 mi S of town on 385 on E side of Hwy-good eats) ask for Jeff & tell him that his Dad says you supposed to have a barley pop on him, tell him I'll cover the tab next time I get there. He's got a friend that comes into the lounge all the time thats got a '41 (I think) SC right there in Hill City. Its really a nice one. (Another $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
