I need help on my 2670 Case,
I need to put a new throttle cable. and a shutoff cable in,
I see all these places where you have to thread the cable thru a maze of wiring on left side of tractor,
I guess you have to do the same with the shutoff cable,
I guess I could do it in about maybe an hour,
or two depending on how amadextrious you were leaning over to thread it in,
That,s the reason I was putting it off doing it,
and it sitting on the south side of house,
with the W-6,
Any Help will Be Welcome,
Kirk in kansas,

Boy stan,
You got that right, Mine is all stiff, and hard, (the old one),
That,s totally right,
I didnt even think of that really alot but that,s true of these 504,s,
I love the manifold on the right side,
It,s all uniform, and not in bunches of three like some Ive seen,
Case really put some thought into the design,
and look of this engine,
Ive seen alot of JD,s with Intercooler,s on them, But they stick outside of the engine,
And seem like they would be in the way
If you wanted to work on it,
Take it easy Stan,

Hey Kirk: Them CASE's are tempermental sometimes, not a good idea to have that 2670 next to a W6. As for changing them Cables, I like to attach a piece of Baling Wire to the end of the old one, then from inside the Cab, pull the old one back till You have it all. Unhook the wire, & secure the wire to the new cable, & carefully, pull the new one down in place using the wire.
Good luck.
