I Know it's probably been metion here before, I can't get the hydralic oil up to its proper level it seems like it's flowing back into the main transmission. My 430 has the Triple range unit on it. I am sure I'll probably end up splitting the tractor. Like to know the most common cause's of the leak, I guess oil from the torque tube is soposed to get into the triple range unit for there is no fill plug for this? Thanks Dave F.

Re: Yes, the 3 point will leak down, but will work in reply to Dave F., 03-02-2006 09:39:08
I've seen mounted three bottom plows being used without problems on 430's while the 3 point pistons are leaking hydraulic oil into the rearends. Yes, weight on the 3 point will gradually cause it to drop. The 3 point will drop very little with a faulty piston seal and no weight. A new piston seal will correct your problem.
