I was having problems with my David Brown. I seem to be getting air into the fuel bowl and couldn't figure it out. I check all the fitting, put a new bowl and gasket on but still was getting air. I pulled the lift pump off and opened it up to put a new diaphram in it. When I did that I noticed that one of the one-way valves inside the pump wasn't in place. I put it back in its proper position and no more air! I still changed the diaphram as its about 30 years old. So if any one is having fuel problems with their David Browm, check that out. Betterthan paying over $200.00 for a new one!

Thanks. I have an 885. Great tractor. I just put a set of remotes on. Elmer supplied the manifold. This is great, you can run your log splitter, hyd. top link, rear buckets etc. If yours is in good shape, it is worth the 300-400 dollars to add these.
