I have replace the brake shoe, oil seals and bearings on the rear wheel of the DB 1210 tractor and am going to insert it on the tractor body, however I have problem with the shaft that has the differential lock. I seems to be unable to hook the differential lock lever onto slot of the shaft. I have no problem with the other shaft without the differential lock.

How is it done? Do I have to remove the back part of the gearbox where the PTO shaff comes out to enable me to make the work easier.

Thank you all.

Your diff lock collar has fallen. The diff lock is to be tied down in the engaged position before removing the right final drive. Pull the seal retainer from the axle and use a pipe to insert the collar back into place.

It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'.
