I think I found me a good radiator core today as well as a pretty nice C Series tank in a salvage pile one rad assembly is a D series with a pretty decent looking core so I figure I should be able to make me a good radiator out of the 2 and I know a good rad man. The one I have is in prett sad shape. Anyhow my mag is also missing as well as the entire coupling. I need to know what models of Mags will work we dug out an American Bosch I think it was an MJA and -4A? and 114 or something like that I shoulda wrote it down I took it out and it looks like it will fit the base though the coupleing is too big around on the mag I looked at plus it was the male side of the couple that was on the mag. What models of Mags can I use?? Also he has a CC out ther with a good front V belt pulley on it. How hard are those to get off when they have been in the weather for 50 years?? ;>) I'll be asking more questions as I tear into this thing further. I am rounding up parts in the mean time. Probly will be needing more that I currently have on my list. Thanks guys.

cast pulley will not clear early CC front casting. I clearanced the one on my puller with a Makita. The only I can change the belt is to unbolt the frontend! Probably won't wear the belt out on the pulling track!

The early C's had a Robert Bosch mag. Later ones had the American Bosch. I am not sure when they changed, but I would guess about 34. You need a drive coupling that fits between the mag, and the governor shaft. The pulleys can sometimes slip right off, or can be locked on solid. When we find a good flat belt crankshaft pulley that is solid, we cut and drill the crankshaft to save the pulley. Crankshaft can be replaced much easier than a good flat pulley. V-belt pulleys are much easier to find. DC"s will fit I think. Good Luck DK

Hello DKase thanks for the info this one had to of been converted to the V belt I can see a lil Flambuea red on the pulley assembly the set screw is going to twist right off I can tell because I had a crescent on it this morning. I can get a real good pullet off a parts tractor though it may be a real deal getting it off. I am going to see what I can find for a mag those parts tractors have the engine side of the coupling on them so I am going to grab em then all I will lack is the side that is on the mag I may find on there also in the mag collection.
