I don't know anything about the old Case 830. But buddy, I grew up working with a Case 730. My father had a 430, a 530 and a 730. That 730 would work you to death. You just about broke your arms trying to steer that thing, (especially in deep sand - and heaven help you if you had to do a lot of shifting from forward to reverse that day - like they say - if you can't find em, grind em). The tractor had a lot of power, but the one we had was hot, noisy, hard to start if the weather even turned remotely cool. Seeing an old 730 brings back a lot of memories, mostly the memory of how I never want to get on another one in my life.
