Kirk, I only know of 3 here in my area in missouri, 1 is sitting in a guys barn lot, and he wont sell it. Another is owned by a neighbor of mine and is still currently being used for feild work and occasionaly pull a small dirt scoop for farm work. The last one is owned by a friend of mine and he had trouble with the engine in his. At the moment he is installing an 855 cummins in it, if anybody is intetrested in this I would be glad to keep you posted and I believe he would like to sell the tractor. I dont know that much about the 1200, there is a father and his 2 sons that farm close to our place and they have a apir of 1470's they are awful happy with...hope this helped you out any..... ....Josh

Hi Kirk I would love to have a 1200 or 1470 for my collection.I have not seen any around IL. But know of one in Edina MO a friend of my sells seed corn and told me of it he said he would ask him if he would sell it. Josh if your frend would like to sell the 1200 let me know you can e-mial me. In the spring 2000 addition of Old Abe's News there is a story of a guy that has restored a 1470 and 1200 he shows them it is a nice story.

Hi my name is Josh Lehs. Ilive in Independence, IA. I currently own a 1200 Case tractor. It has had some modifying over the years but does run. The original motor has been pulled and a Detroit Diesel has replaced it. Also the steering has been switched from the separate steering to a steering sector from a 2470 Case. All the hydraulic hoses run to a single sector and run everything through the steering wheel. If you or anyone else is interested please let me know. my phone number is 319-334-9033.

Nick, I think the 1200 in edina is the same one I mentioned, I never asked the man about it but I tried to buy a minnie moline from him and he wouldn't part with it, might suprise you and sell the case though. I'll find out a price and a little more info on the case with the cummins engine if you'd like..... Josh
