Anyone know about how long it would take to replace the ring gear and pinion in a Case 1070?
Must the cab and rockshaftt be removed to do this?

Also is there a PTO brake in the early Case 400's or just the supers? Could I put one in my 1956 400?
How big of a job would it be to replace it? Are parts still available? Thanks for any help, Case400

Well, I don"t know about a "squak". I suppose slipping discs or a bearing? Hydraulic fluid level is okay? PTO is adjusted properly? I"m just throwing these out as possibles, maybe someone else has heard this sound.....
