First and foremost, I don't know squat about the 320 so bear that in mind ..... . In the CaseIH site parts manuals: 1. Model 320 (1956-1957) .... Figure: 072 DIFFERENTIAL AND FINAL DRIVE lists axle p/n G10851 splined to final drive gear p/n G10344 (66T). 2. Model 310 utility round nose (1956-1957) .... Figure: 110 DIFFERENTIAL, REAR AXLE AND FINAL DRIVE lists axle p/n G10851 splined to final drive gear p/n G10344 (66T). Same axle & gear as 320 above. 3. Model 310B utility (1958-1959) .... Figure: 114 DIFFERENTIAL, REAR AXLE AND FINAL DRIVE GEAR (Utility tractors before #6128060) lists axle p/n G10851 splined to final drive gear p/n G30353(66T) w/G49616 spacer. Same axle as the 320 and the 310 above, something different with the final drive gear which may just be a part nr change to include the spacer? 4. Model 310B utility (1958-1959) .... Figure: 114 DIFFERENTIAL, REAR AXLE AND FINAL DRIVE GEAR (Utility tractor #6128060 and after) lists axle p/n G15743 splined to final drive gear p/n G30353(66T) w/G49616 spacer. Different axle than the 320 and the 310 and the 310B before sn 6128060 above but the same final drive gear as on the 310B before sn 6128020. In view of the above, axles p/n G10851 & G15743 are identical in regard to spline count and will mate to either gear G10344 or G30353 but there is something else different in the 2 axles and they probably are not interchangeable. The point is that the salvage yard can not identify the axle by spline count alone. Joe
