I have given several people help on different subject on this forum and noticed that the person who asked for the info never comes back to acknowledge that they even read the help or if it helped them. It would be nice for people who ask questions to just say thanks that was helpful or Sorry but that didn't help me.
Walt

Walt, you are dead on, on what you said, you have help many people in here including myself.I have noticed over the years people that work in retail business do not use the words"thank you" after a purchase, the "new" phrase is "your all set".I just dont get that one.
Thanks again Walt

Walt I so agree with you and it is not just on this board. In real life when some one asks a question and you give an answer they usually say thanks...I guess the rules are different in cyber space....

I recently received help from a friend called Jim. But my thanks comes from email back and forth now. Sometimes others email thanks.. sorry you are not getting any. So I will say thanks to you.. just cause you do help others on here. :)

I recently restored a 4000SU Ford and thanked everyone. I displayed the final pictures. Some of us really appreciate the help and mention it. I saved time and money by my friends in the Ford forum helping me along every step of the way. Most of the time I searched through forums to find the answer and I didn¡¦t have to re-ask a question that was already answered.
Don¡¦t be discouraged. This forum is great and so are most of the people. I need some help with a VAC as we speak. ƒº

WALT, I agree 150%, I'd rather be told that I'm an idiot and don't know spit, than not know wether my advice/ideas were helpful, don't really want praise but the occasional "HEY that worked would be nice.

Hey Walt Your point is well taken, and there are many of us out here looking over your shoulder, soaking up lots of info. and knowledge. Please don't think we don't appreciate you. I want to say thanks for from all of us out here who seem to be inconsiderate at times like this. Please keep on keeping on! Harry Case, Allis, Moline nut

I can certainly understand your point- I'm certainly thankful for all the help (and parts!) people on the board have given me over the years.

It's been quite awhile since I posted here- but I'm not getting any reply notifications from YTMAG on new posts... I have been checking the "e-mail notification" button- but I have to remember to check to boards to see if people have been responding to threads I'm interested in. That might be another reason people are responding.

Walt, common on all of the forums. Yes it would be nice to see if what you or I or any body else for that matter helped or not. Hard for others to learn if people don't tell use what worked or did not work. Thats why at times I post things and then later say what I did to fix the problem. I figure if I do that maybe just maybe it will help some one else
