Ever since I have owned my 508 b the swing tower has been slow moving to the left and only worked well when I also raised the boom at the same time. Today it has completely stopped. The left pedal won't go down and the linkage is not stuck from dirt, rust, etc. The right pedal WILL move the tower to the right. Just before this happenned the left pedal went completely to the floor a couple of times and the thing worked better than it ever has! But then it froze up again. I am guessing something is frozen or broken in the "lifter" but I really don't know what I am doing. Before I make a worse mess, can anyone direct me to fixing it?? I do have a shop manual. Thanks for anyone who can help..
