On most of the Case tractors with the disc brakes, you need to clean them all up, and then between the actuator plates, you will find some balls. They are usually about 1/2". I think. Replace them with 5/8" or whatever the next size up is. Make sure the inserts where these balls set are smooth and without wear. They can be replaced as well. You should keep the old balls if they are in good condition, because when you replace the brake discs, you will need to put them back in. There will not be enough room for the over sized ones. There is also an adjustment on each of the actuator rods that extend out of each brake housing. You should be able to adjust them by turning the nut clockwise on the yolk shaft sticking out of the housing. This will be fruitless if the brakes have oil on them or if they are just not working properly. Be sure to turn only 180 or 360 degrees ( in other words 1/2 or a complete turn each time. You may need 2,3, or even 4 turns to really make them adjust up) because the nut has a chamfer to set in only that position. Don't over do it, and be sure to use lots of your favorite penetrating oil on these nuts long before you try to adjust them. I would try the adjusting before dis assembly, but if they have been neglected, you will have to take them apart. You will thank your self if you reassemble these moving parts with some never-sieze. If my memory is correct, on mine I use a deep well 3/4 socket to do this. If some one can help you while you do the adjusting it is a great help, because you will notice the travel of the brake paddle mas you do the adjusting, Watch for free play before and after adjusting. You should have free play when you are done, or else you will burn up the brakes. My brakes work so well that I can slide either wheel anytime I want even with duals on the tractor. By the way, I grew up an SC and three DC's Finally in High School my dad bought an 830. I now have all those tractors, as well as a 930CK, a different 830CK, and a 1070 power shift.I have pretty much done all the mechanic work on all these tractors myself.
