Just bought it today at an auction. COM seems to be pretty good, Pulls OK , direct shifts like I seem to remember. Its been 35 years since we had one as a kid. Where is a good place to get parts,Like pressure gauge for the COM and a original type seat. The lift arms won't go down although they move slightly when I move the lever. It also needs bushings in the steering column and a steering wheel. Looking forward to your help and Thanks in advance.

If you are going to keep the tractor and your metal for your seat is good . Call downing tractor part and ask about R&R seat restoration. $105 for seat $115 for mid backrest $40 upper. The after market plywood ones did not work on my 830 had to send back. Steering bushings Icould only find at case ih dealer $58.20 ea.

Jim,
Sorry I can't help you on parts but your post sure brings back memories of mine. In 1974 a Case salesman stopped in while my Dad and I were milking cows. He said he had heard we liked Case tractors and he had a dandy 830. My Dad said to bring it out if it was as good as he said it was (if not he was to take it right back). It was like brand new, except he had failed to mention it was COM. My Dad somehow let him unload it, but vowed to never drive it and he never did. That was just fine with me. We never had any trouble with it at all. Don
