I know this should be posted in the general section, but this is going in a Case 530... PLUS I am a Case guy.... Ok I have a Case 530 diesel. I have been using Castrol Hyperon-S 15w-40 semi-synthetic oil in it (Dryden dieselall plus prior to Castrol buying them out) I went to NAPA this weekend to get oil for my spring oil change.... they do not stock Hyperon-S anymore... they suggested straight Hyperon. This oil is a SEMI synthetic... what the heck is the difference?? Will this hurt the engine?? I have heard that mixing synthetic and regular mineral oil is not recommended... Thanks

If you are using a Semi synthetic isn't it already mixed with regular oil.
