I have a 1969 Case 440 that came with a factory loader that was in pieces. I have welded the loader back together and am mounting it. The hoses and cylinders are in a heap in a box. Does anyone know where the loader takes its hydraulic power from on this tractor? It has a 2 lever control below the seat on the right hand side but I can't see wher the hydraulic output for the loader comes from on the tractor. Any help would be much appreciated

If you have a 430 (I think a 440 is a model number for a 430 series tractor) then look under the fuel tank. Follow the rods that connect your control levers to the control bolcks below the fuel tank. You should find the hydralic outlets with plugs in the spots where your hoses go. The actual outlets are small blocks attached to the side of the casing where the rods from your control levers connect. If you have two control levers then you can assign one lever to the lift cylinders and the other to the bucket cylinder(s). Does not matter which control is assigned to which cylinder but you have to connect the lift cylinders to one control block and the bucket sylinder to the other control block.
