On top of the trans where the shifter is.The section that bolts down. There is a cable going in it.What is that cable for and it is leaking trans fluild bad out around it.Like pouring out. What can I use to seal it back up?

Second question is the High Low lever keep popping out of Low.What does that mean and how can I fix it?Thanks Tony

Tony another possibility is the trans. might be over filled, with the tractor running check the oil, there is a dip stick on top near there, normally it has a rubber gasket around the cable to seal it, Good Luck!

That is your speedometer cable. I had my cable out for about a year, used a piece of gas rubber hose to seal the opening & plugged off the hose end.

Don't know hi/lo.

Joe
