I want to remove the Kohler 14 h.p. and rebuild it. How difficult is it to remove the engine?

Thanks;

Jake T.

It is difficult to get to the hydraulic lines where they connect to the pump. Some models incorporated a removable plate under the dash to assist in access to the pump. You will have to remove the hydraulic tank and those lines, but the engine is only held in by four mounting bolts. For a lot of info on these tractors look up the Case garden tractor Yahoo Group. Lots of good advise and friendly folks there.
