I have inclosed a couple of pics of a 4 bottom plow and what I belive is either a disk plow or one way disk. Both of these implements are in a pasture in a beautiful area in eastern Oregon were My Dad and brothers go ground squirrel hunting each spring. The plow is an Massy Harris and the one way disk or disk plow is a Case. The one way has two of the blade units removed but thay are laying close by. I was wondering if any body knew any thing about either implement. What was the disk plow used for? Is it a disk plow? Will my LA pull these? How old are they? Are they rare? I dont know if the owner of the land would let my buy them from him or not. Any info about these of any kind would be very appreaceated. Thanks a bunch

Kid I have 4 and a 3 bottom plow and my LA pulls them great in good soil but hard packed soil that has not been tilled for awhile it can be a lot of work for it. The little Disk plow should be a toy to pull. I also pull a 12 ft. 24 disc like a toy behind it.
When you get going real good take out to field chain it good and tight to large tree or stump and pull till the tires spin free this will let you know if you are getting full power and the clutch is not slipping on you. Get a big chain or cable.

Our LA here in central Texas pulled an Allis Chalmers 18' disk plow. It had 8 or 10 disks on it my memory says but its been a long time since we sold the tractor and plow. I am sure about the plowing width though. Your LA will walk off with either of these and never look back.

Kid, sorry I didn't see the other picture at first, but the one is a disk plow and the other is a bottom plow. The LA should have no problem with either one.

Hi Kid. The picture appears to be of a 4 bottom turning plow with one of the coulters on it upside down. In any case the LA should be able to handle it with no problems.
