I have a David Brown 880 Implematic, that is red and oil is comeing out at the head gasket. I know eventually I am in for an engine job. How hard is it to find engine parts for this tractor. all the goodies. Pistions, rings, sleeves, bearings, or would I be better boering out to install 990 sleeves, pistions, rings and go that route instead of the 880 engine?

880 is a 3 cyl whereas 990 is a 4 cyl. Should be able to get everything you need to rebuild it. There are 5 different engine blocks in the David Brown 3 cyl line.

This motor is a four cylinder Deasel
Thanks Bruce. I was told that the parts for the red colored modled tractors, are real expensive, compared to the white colored modled tractors.
