So has anyone registered for Garys Auction yet. I was thinking about it as I was interested in that Case 500 LP. I been trying to find out more about the tractor. I called them a few weeks ago and talked with them about getting the serial number. Was told to call back the next week and they would drive out to the tractor and get the serial numbers. Well I called them back the next week and they told me to call back the next week. needless to say I gave up and decided they didn't need my money so I never registered. Also heard that they were raising the buyer premium to 15% on anything over 500.00. They even want a 500.00 deposit if your planning on paying cash.

Picture of the 500 LP for those that have not seen it.

Don L,

Yes I think the hood says 509. My research showed the 509 stationaty engine as being a diesel also. I do admitt what info I had was vague. Thats why I was trying to get tractor and engine serial number. Are you going Don.

I had considered registering, but when I finally got through all the rules and regulations, I decided I didn't want to make the drive up from Oklahoma only to have a buyers premium added to everything, plus be required to remove anything I bought within 24 hours. Just seemed like Kruse was trying to shake people down.

I wish you had posted a week ago. I was there the 24th and looked over the stuff that I was interested in. It is not that far for you. Why don't you just go and check it out? Plan on spending at least 2 days if you want to see 1/2 of the stuff. DK

Mark,
I have found no records that Case ever made an LP or Gas 500. They did made a 600LP only. I have been told that others have seen an LP and a Gas 500 at a show. However I haven't found anything in my books to show a production of these. However it's possible of being a proto type. For additional info this was discussed under topic OK, What is it?
