I have a 1979 david brown 995 tractor. It has the two stage clutch. My problem with the hydraulics is that it raises like its supposed to but it takes forever to lower it. I have a manual but it doesn't really address this problem. I've changed the fluid and filter. No change in operation. Also, Does anyone have a wiring diagram? I am having problems with most of the guages. Found a few wires just dangling. Would like to find out where they go. Any advice would be great! Thanks!!

Rate of lower knob is by your right heel when sat on the tractor, very similar style knob as the light switch.

There is a rate of lowering adjustment on those tractors. Its been years since I worked on one but it should be covered in the repair manual. Sorry I can't remember more about it.
