Have a 930 with 3950 hours on it. I just got it so haven't used it for much but it seems to leak a little oil out of the manifold when it sits and idles (1000 rpm or so). Leaking is from #2 and#5 ports and where the 2 manifold parts come together. Starts good for a 930 with the typical missing for the first 30 seconds or so. Has some blow by but not what I would consider excessive. Do the injectors need done or am I needing sleeves and pistons? Looks like heads and injectors have been off in the past. Some of the injectors still have numbers written on them in paint marker.

A lot of times a diesel that hasn't been run hard just plain needs to be worked real hard and put away wet as the saying goes. All diesels will start to do that if not run hard and worked hard its just the nature of a deisel

JW,If its missing on #2and #5it could be the valves thats causing it.Start it up when the engine is cold let it idle ,get off and feel the exhaust manifold at each cylinder.Feel for a cooler exhaust port at the manifold to tell if the cylinder is missing. If it is that could be dirty fuel and not oil leaking.
