Looking for an oil pump for 1948 Case SC. The casting # on mine is 5612A. Have been contacted about different year possibilities but don't know if they would be interchangeable. Also the 48 SC I bought has a Ford 8N carb. on it and does not work right. Does anyone know what the original would be and know where I might find one.
Thanks,
John Mayes 325 554-7883 or e-mail response.

John;
The carburetor should be a Zenith 161jx7, PN O-9667.
John Saeli in Geneva New York may be able to help you with the proper carb.
Don Livingston in Austin, Minn. may also be able to help. e-mail is [email protected]... Gene

Gene, Do you know if that particular carb. was used on SC's other than my 48?

Gene, Thanks for the reply. I'll e-mail Don and give it a try. Do you have John Saeli's e-mail or phone #?

I saw a little farther down that Don L. is on his way to Florida for the JICCA winter convention.

Gene, thought I read some where that you have a big Case scrap yard in New York. My e-mail is on so if this is true drop me a quick mail and let me know what all you have. I am restoring a 630 Case and am needing a few sheet metal parts in addition to the odd internal part I find that is worn beyond use or damaged.

JGarner;
Sorry, I don't have a scrap yard. That would be John Saeli. His information is in my previous post... Gene
