There is a no reserve auction on April 1,2,3,4,5,6,and 7 starting at 9:00 daily. Nearly 3000 tractors mostly JD but a mix of about every brand, many very old tractors on steel and some I never heard of. Call 800-968-4444 or WWW.KRUSE.COM. I don't think this guy ever scraped anything!! There are some nice Case items here.

There were several rare tractors sold to an overseas buyer that had a big wallet, if you noticed an Eagle 20-35 and a Waterloo Boy on Aumann auctions sale bill and not on Kruses. Be carefull on attending this sale, it could cost you dearly. Us commin folk have to work hard for our money, dont give it to Kruse!!!

Kruse runs the collector car auction in Auburn, IN if I am thinking right. They sell alot like a small Barrett-Jackson, so yes, they are after the dollar, not the seller or the buyer. I talked to them a week or so ago and they said the catalog was still being put together along with the flow and final lot numbers. I took the time to complain about the fees involved for this type of auction while I had a chance. They responded with "You don"t have to go", so I probably won"t. I think most of these types of auctions for me are more of a meeting place for some good talk and story time more than for the buying...

I do not know what kind of reputation the auction company has. I was just passing along information so anyone interested could check it out. I don't like to see any old iron (tractors) going to the scrap yard if I can help it.

I am interested in going to this auction for some of the parts tractors. However have not read or found anything good about this Kruse auction company. Also it will be very hard to find lodging close by. At the auction site I learned that it will be difficult to park your truck and trailor due to limited space. And last thing I just found out, to load you they will charge 50 bucks per item. The problem with not going is all the more for the salvage scabs. I myself probably will not go. Its 8 hour drive for me.

This is the same auction that Aumann had originally. If you check there site it looks like the owner originally contracted with Aumann, and then contracted with Kruse. It is currently in the courts getting straightened out. I"ve been to a Kruse tractor auction and it is horrible in my opinion. Charge admission "to look to buy", then a buyers premium. I have been to numerous Aumaunn auctions, and have nothing but positive experiences with Kurt and his crew. I hope Aumann gets the contract as they are a lot more honest in there descriptions, do not charge ridiculous types of charges, and in my opinion could handle the auction a lot better then the antique car guys.

According to the catalog: 4.Unless agreed otherwise in writing by Bidder/Buyer and Kruse, all articles shall be removed from the sale area by the Bidder/Buyer at Bidder/Buyer’s expense immediately following the sale, and if not so removed within 24 hours of the date of sale of the item, Kruse may remove the article with all costs
of moving and storage to be paid by the Bidder/Buyer. Bidder/Buyer agrees that Kruse has no liability for loss or damage to items left with Kruse at any
place of auction and that Bidder/Buyer shall maintain insurance to cover any items purchased at the sale.

You better check the website. They are going to charge admission, 10% buyers fee on tractors, 15% buyers fee on memorabilia, $500 deposit to bid if you are going to pay in cash, or a letter of credit from your bank for writing a check.
Also, if you want a catalog, you have to pay $20 or $25 for that.

Gary Phillips was a BIG junk dealer. He died and and as I heard just had a wife for the inh. I heard rumor that she sold the whole deal land and all for 100 million. and the new buyer is selling it out. Also I heard this will be the biggest auction ever??? I heard also that the town of Bridgeport is worried how they are going to handle all the people that will come. I suppose all the surrounding towns, Sidney, Bayard, Scottsbluff and Alliance will have all there motels filled that week. I live south of Sidney

The whole business with inventory isnt worth anywheres close to 100 million dollars, not even 10 million.Far too many common tractors there.

People will be driving long distances to get motel rooms.Since Kruse is having it lots of us arent going which should help some.

I just wrote to a more recent reply that I heard Kruse was the one that bought everthing--all that they are selling, buildings land--EVERYTHING-- Like I said they make you think they are selling this stuff to settle Gary"s est. If they own it they should tell us. The way everyone feels about this auction co. reflex"s on Mrs Gary Phillips, and that is the real crime in this.
