Having been to a Kruse tractor auction before I am positive the family could have found a better auction company. They are charging a buyers premium, a gate charge just to bid and if you read the fine print you will notice there is also a 5.5% sales tax on all purchases plus some crap about must have purchases off property in 24 hours or Kruse will move it at your cost. Not to sound mean but maybe Kruse should stick with collector car auctions.....

I live 50 mi. south of this auction. Have bought stuff from them over the years. I notice that not all the discriptions are right. to bid smart you will have to know your product and the value. As large as this auction is you will have to spend the whole week to get what you want. As with most auctions of this size they will be running several rings. I have been to several sales like this. I have had the experance of wanting items from both rings. If this happens you will have to have several persons lined up to bid for you. Another thing at a auction this big to be close enough for them to catch your bid will be a challange.

Last Kruse auction I went to (Yuma) was a three day. They ran a single ring and moved 1000+ each day. 8AM til 2AM, bring your coffee.

Wow, I've never seen anything like it. I was amazed by the total number of tractors and the number of Case cross-motor tractors.

looks like some small 2 or 3 square balers. Seems like someone is always looking for one or parts. Don"t like paying premiums at auctions either. THat"s part of the cost of doing buisiness. I would imagine Kruse is dipping on both sides for commissions.

We got a brochur in the mail today about this auction, what bothers me, besides the distance, is the $10. entrance fee and the 10% buyers premium. There is 3 or 4 300's listed and a bunch of other Case tractors and machinery. Hate to pay for the privledge to spend my money. 1500 JD's though if you like that stuff. Roger

I really like the 300 roundnose single-front.

Boy , he has quite a collection there . Was he running a salvage yard or what ? Quite a varity of everything imagineable .I wonder how much land all that covers ? It would be nice to get my hands on a few of the Ford items . But money & distance is beyond my sight . Hope he makes out ok . God bless, Ken
